Unfortunately no report.. the frying oil was still good, so we didn’t empty it. Instead, the torches now have lamp oil.. On the packaging you can at least read "based on rapeseed oil". But there are still dozens of warnings on it

Probably so that no one gets the reverse idea of putting the [lamp oil] into the deep fryer and cooking fries in it.

During combustion, even the best cooking oil may release "toxic" substances. The notes are given in the context of the intended use of the respective oil. Lamp oil = combustion Frying oil = consumption Therefore, the printed warnings have only limited relevance regarding your "problem," which is why I would burn lamp oil and dispose of frying oil properly after use.

Hi,

Not without reason, unfortunately that stuff is life-threatening for small children... If they try the nice colorful, scented oil, the poisoning that follows is still the mild part. If even a few drops get into the lungs, it destroys the lungs and the doctors can only support with palliative care. Nothing more can be done...

So please only use the colorless, unscented oil. It is just as dangerous, but not as attractive to small children...

Best regards,

Andreas
