Fill the garden torch with cooking oil

Hello, I actually couldn't find anything about this on Google search.. Maybe you can help.. Is it possible to use simple classic bamboo garden torches alternatively with cooking oil, e.g. rapeseed oil? Best regards Steffi

Basically, you can use rapeseed or sunflower oil. No idea if or how it smokes and stinks. But it burns.

why do you want to do that?

On the one hand, I have leftovers from a deep fryer and on the other hand, it frightens me when various hazard warnings are printed on the conventional lamp oil.

It will just smell like [Frittenbude] and probably produce more soot, so no torch near the wall. I don't know if you can safely mix fragrance oil in there as well.

just try it with one. the thing can’t do more than burn out anyway
