Hello everyone,
we took over our house from the developer (the developer is insolvent).
At our entrance, there is still a square hole in the screed that we would like to close (see picture). The fiber optic cable was supposed to be fed through the pipe at the bottom right. However, the company that laid the fiber optic cable could no longer find the starting section of the pipe in front of the house, so they drilled a separate hole (on the left, where the orange cable is laid).
How would you best fill the entire hole?
Simply fill it with concrete screed up to the top edge, level it, and tile? Or is there anything to consider because of the Styrofoam or sealing the sides?
Should the orange cable for the fiber optic be covered somehow?
Is there anything that needs to be done with the empty conduit originally intended for the fiber optic (bottom right)? Maybe close it beforehand with well foam or is it enough just to fill the hole with concrete screed?
Many thanks.
