Hello everyone,

does anyone have a tip or idea which system could be suitable for the mentioned window problem or has implemented it themselves? I would like to have something proper pre-installed before the ETICS installation, so that there is no thermal bridge or anything else afterwards. PS: it should be a French balcony. Ideally without (hard to describe) anchoring where water constantly runs down the facade and over the years leaves black streaks. (I am an enemy of facade attachments). ;-) Two terrace windows with a width of 1.80 m should be protected and no, I also don’t want a fixed window at the bottom (that’s hard to clean from the outside).

well, a grate that meets legal requirements just comes in front according to your taste. I don’t quite understand what exactly the problem is?

If I am not mistaken, with monolithic you can simply anchor dowels into the wall, but if you have [WDVS] in front of the stone, you might get a thermal bridge/condensation at the anchor!?

There are special wall anchors for this, which are thermally insulated. Something like Fischer Thermax.
Mount a fall protection device in the window reveal instead of on the facade in front of it. That way you have no risk of "runoff stains."

Or alternatively, do without the balcony door and use a window with a transom.. or mechanically limit the opening width..

The potential window manufacturer with Rehau profiles can only offer in the reveal (with glass railing), which we do not want.

These terrace windows should be fully openable for cleaning reasons (in old age) and therefore deliberately decided against a "mullion" or fixed lower part.

These Fischer dowels are very expensive, which is why I also wanted to proactively pursue an alternative before the ETICS.
