Hello everyone,
We moved into a new Weberhaus about a year ago, everything is fine so far. Since our earthworks contractor had little time last year, the start of the exterior landscaping was somewhat delayed. As we have heavily clayey soil in this region, unfortunately the following problem has now occurred. Due to the lack of a gravel layer around the house, the facade is covered with a reddish shimmering clay dirt. We have already gone over the affected area several times with a high-pressure cleaner and Kärcher facade cleaner, but you can still see a red shimmer. Does anyone here in the forum have tips on how to deal with clay or possibly even a recommendation for a white paint that can be used to repaint partial areas? Our plaster is a Sto roughcast plaster; if exact data is important here, I can look it up.
Best regards, Heiko
