Hello,
we looked at a house yesterday that we really like.
For our house, we definitely want the same clinker bricks, possibly the same roof tiles (in any case also in brown), and a similar facade cladding.
I have uploaded a photo of the house we looked at.
And an exterior view of our house. You can see how we roughly imagine the facade cladding between the windows.
Does anyone possibly have a similar combo (clinker bricks and this facade cladding)?
Today I found the company JamesHardie on the internet where such claddings are available.
Does anyone have experience with it, or can recommend another manufacturer?
We definitely want something low-maintenance and durable (so definitely not wood).

And did you also ring the bell and get the materials/companies from them?

Hello,

How good that tastes differ

I only know it this way, that wooden inserts are sensibly made from Douglas fir**; I have not yet encountered a builder wanting to use plastic on the facade.

If you have looked at this single-family house – I assume it is a model house – why did you not ask about the material of the insert?

Hello,
first of all, thank you very much for your answers.
It is not a typical prefab house that we looked at. It is located in a residential area where houses are built and sold by a real estate company.
However, I have already inquired there whether they would give me the materials, and they want to get back to me.
But I thought maybe I could get some ideas here. I am afraid that the materials used there might exceed our budget.
But for now, I will wait to see what kind of answer I get.
Otherwise, I will definitely take a look at this JamesHardie cladding.
We actually prefer not to use wood because of painting, etc...

You should just keep in mind that the plastic stuff will eventually crumble as well.
