Hello,
I hope someone can give us a tip.
In 2010 we built a Weberhaus with the so-called Wohlfühlwärmetechnik. This is a Proxxon ventilation heater with heat recovery from the company Zimmermann.
In winter, we have the problem every time that the indoor air becomes extremely dry. And I am not exaggerating with extremely. The colder the outside temperature, the drier the air. Measured, this means between 25-35 percent humidity.
As a result, we all struggle with respiratory illnesses in winter, sometimes more, sometimes less. Especially not nice for the children.
Neither Weberhaus nor Zimmermann could help me with the problem.

Is there anyone here who has had similar experience and/or has a solution?
Are there modules that can be installed to humidify the air?

Regards
joela

Yes, such things exist and are called enthalpy or rotary heat exchangers... but you need to find out if there is one for your ventilation heating... the manufacturer can help you most easily with that... the price for something like this including installation is around 1000 € Otherwise, many large plants and humidifiers help everywhere...

Zimmermann basically has different systems! On the other hand, the problem is not new in principle and has intensified with the use of controlled residential ventilation in single-family homes. Simple and uncomfortable, non-adjustable solutions are decentralized evaporation containers or humidifiers as well as indoor fountains from the hardware store. [Quote="Joela, post: 59818"]....Are there modules that can be installed to humidify the air?...[ /QUOTE] While this is virtually standard in industry and commerce, small units lack the appropriate range. However, there are retrofit options. For this, a central supply air duct must be present after the ventilation unit before the sub-distribution begins. Whether the space conditions are sufficient depends, as always, on the individual case.

Hello Joela,

we have learned from your above post that your house is heated by a ventilation heating system.

We are a young project team that is examining the advantages and disadvantages of ventilation-based heating for Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH.

You have certainly already gained some experience in this field. Would you please share it with us?

You decide on the scope and form of the exchange of information (email, phone, face2face, …). We look forward to your feedback!

Best regards

Extremely unlikely that the user will get in touch. But surely there are others here who heat with this controversial heating technology.
