Extractor hood / roof or wall

So is an adequate exhaust hood alongside a proper wall box the most essential point in the system?

Let the exhaust pipe protrude a few centimeters outside instead of being flush with the wall.

My recommendation. To support the mostly too weak range hoods, install an external fan. For example, from Oranier or Miele and other manufacturers. Recently installed the model Oranier 1150CBM/4 in an open kitchen!
