Exterior plaster silicone resin plaster or fine plaster with paint

Hello everyone,
we have a recessed terrace at our house with an insulated reinforced concrete ceiling above (bedroom above terrace). For the ceiling in the terrace area, there is now the choice between a coarse-grained silicone resin plaster like the rest of the exterior facade or a fine plaster with two coats of silicone resin paint. What would you recommend to us? The plasterer said both are of equal quality. Many prefer fine plaster.

I would also use a finer plaster on the ceiling as a contrast to the wall. But like many things, it's a matter of taste.
