Hello, I have been reading in the forum for some time and have been able to gather good advice for our construction project. Now a question for which I could not find an answer in the search: we are currently in the shell construction phase and slowly need to make decisions regarding the floor. I always planned to lay wood (oak or similar) in the living and dining rooms. Now, after our last vacation in Austria, I am enthusiastic about Zirbenholz. I really liked the smell and also the room climate. However, it is an uncommon type of wood in our region. Has anyone had experience with floors made of Zirbenholz? Is it suitable for underfloor heating with low flow temperatures? How sensitive are the floors with prolonged use? (We have two small children and one week in the vacation hotel was not representative enough). Thank you
