Yes, the color with the flakes in it is not great. Basically, you can use any color you want. I also wouldn't put the flakes in. According to acquaintances, they haven’t had any mold after 5 years.

It's nothing special. With proper execution and maintenance, this happens with every shower.

I still have no mold in my walk-in shower with tiles even after 8 years with grout. In my case, the loops of the underfloor heating run through the shower, so it never stays wet there for long after showering.

Yeah, had something like that in the student dorm back then. The whole bathroom was made from a single piece. It was wonderful to keep clean. But do you want that in a single-family house?
