Hello,

We want to build a house, or rather we will start soon. Now we only have one question, our heating engineer wants to install a gas boiler and also the ventilation system from Junkers. Now the general question. Who has experience with devices from Junkers? Good or bad? Or would you prefer another manufacturer? For example Wolf? Wolf seems to be reasonably priced.

Regards

Hello,

No one can reliably answer that question. Which devices/manufacturers actually make sense depends on the results of the preliminary investigation.

Best regards

But one will be able to make a statement about the overall quality and personal experience regarding a manufacturer, won't one? Or will I always be given only one manufacturer based on the preliminary assessment? I would also be interested in this combination ...

Sure, but what use is it? No building project matches another in terms of all parameters, even if the building were identical. What is sensible for A is just barely possible for B and leads to a money pit for C! No, on the contrary, it is manufacturer-independent. Only after its results are suitable, sensible manufacturers/devices selected.

Best regards

And if I then have several manufacturers to choose from, there will surely be one or the other who says: It runs well, it is prone to errors, test reports say that, etc... how am I supposed to get independent information about the manufacturer - I do not mean the sizing, planning, etc. -?

A heat generator never works alone, but is always integrated into the entire system as well as the building-specific and user-related boundary parameters. As already mentioned, it is a holistic construct. No layperson is capable of describing this sufficiently or defining it reliably. The best high-tech heat generator is of no use if the rest is rubbish! At best, owners of similar devices can exchange information about user-friendliness, possibilities of the implemented control, service, but nothing more! Unfortunately, especially in BT/GU/GÜ projects, holistic system planning and dimensioning is a complete foreign word, much to the detriment of later operators. Possibly, twice as much energy is consumed as actually required.

Regards.

NB:
Sorry construction expert, but these are my many years of professional experience. If everything is better with the construction services you convey, you are welcome to provide me with the complete system dimensioning of a realized construction project from a user in the forum. I would gladly take a look at it!
