Experiences with floorboards

I don't have experience with solid wood planks, but I do with engineered parquet. This was fully glued down - of course on underfloor heating. It doesn't feel as warm (the room temperature is quite normal), as, for example, in the hallway with granite, but it is definitely warmer underfoot when the heating is off. There are no problems, so in our new building we will also glue over 200 sqm of wood to the floor. Just make sure that the plank is suitable for underfloor heating (this depends on the type of wood and the thickness of the planks).

Nowadays, you can install all types of flooring over underfloor heating. You just have to make sure to buy the right material.
