so you can build cheaper. had a house offer from Team massiv Haus (cheapest provider here in the north) for over 140sqm 1.5-story house for €155,000 including some standard extras (e roller shutters, ventilation system, plastic substructures, stainless steel coated roof tiles, "KfW 70 ready" etc...) the selection of finishes was missing though
in the end we were still significantly above that with the other company, because we wanted a company that actually "finishes". Team massiv just takes a bit longer, our neighbor moved in with us within 1 week, but signed the construction contract exactly 1 year before us... (we 6 months from signature, they 18 months...)

You can do many things cheaply... But often what is cheap ends up being expensive quickly. We are not talking about a pair of shoes, but about a home, which is expensive to pay for (even if cheap). We here in the North have it easy anyway.
