Hello everyone,

we are a young founding team in the construction sector. We want to make the experience of the dream of owning your own house possible even before the first stone is laid. For this, we use Virtual Reality technology - those somewhat bulky glasses you wear on your head ;-) - and develop fully immersive VR models from 3D models. This means: moving freely through the rooms, grabbing and moving furniture, turning light switches on and off, and getting a good impression of the proportions.

The good thing: we are currently not trying to sell anything, but we are looking for house builders for whom we may create a free demo version. Why are we doing this? Before we go all-in with our start-up, we want to get feedback from our target group, and you can help us with that! Our office is in Mannheim, so it would be great if you are in the southwest of Germany, but you are also very welcome to contact us if you live further away!

So that you can get a first impression, we have a short video for you. There you can see what an exemplary demo model looks like. Feel free to just .

Feel free to write to us - then we can discuss further details about the process.

We also look forward to your feedback here directly in the forum thread. So far, our test persons have been enthusiastic, but we would be very interested to hear what you as house builders think about it.

Best regards
Andreas & Jan

It's a nice thing and would help some builders. What they are willing to invest is the question and whether you can present that at the price. We would not have used it. However, we can read 2D drawings and have a more spatial imagination. Do you use the existing or desired furnishing of the customers, or do only fillers come in?

Thank you for the positive feedback!

Yes, willingness to pay is indeed a good question. We can bring the models into VR very quickly and thus achieve a low price. Currently, we cannot calculate that exactly yet, but we estimate that we can stay in the three-digit range, which is then a very small percentage of the total construction costs and certainly brings great added value to many. However, we consciously want to first offer demo models for free, or pay what you want.

As for the furniture: they are real furniture & furnishings! On request, also the furniture that the customer wants. We are also aiming for cooperation with furniture manufacturers etc. If we have 3D models of the items, we can easily integrate them.

The right furniture is important. Here you often see narrow beds, small two-seaters, mini tables

With which VR system? Hopefully not the gaming stuff Vive or Oculus? Much too poor resolution and the screen door effect wouldn't be worth a single euro to me! Pimax 8k is going in the right direction. Let's see when it will be available to buy.

Interesting idea. Many homeowners usually have difficulty imagining the later dimensions and spatial relationships.
