Good point, the parquet floor has also been in place since 1995.

There are many on Amazon under €100, including some that look higher quality with wall mounting.

I have already dealt with infrared, but I'm not really convinced by it. I’ve now come across something called a "panel storage heater." The unit is about as compact as a normal convector heater but much heavier because there's a fireclay brick inside, similar to a storage heater. Does anyone have experience with it? The principle is like a storage heater where the brick is heated up, stores the warmth, and releases it slowly over time. Allegedly, it uses less energy. However, these units also cost starting at €300. Well, we'll see!

Anyone who wants to heat with a [Direktheizgerät] is completely crazy in my opinion.

Why, because he is willing to accept the 20%, minus storage losses maybe still 10% higher energy costs?

Because it is a complete waste of energy.

Then please say specifically what you mean by that so that I and other readers can also have added value from your contributions.

What don't you understand about it? The word energietechnisch or the word Verschwendung?
