If additional measures or services become necessary due to local conditions, the requirements from the soil survey, or conditions of the building permit, these are not included in our contractually agreed scope of services and must be commissioned and paid for separately. This also applies to any necessary road closures with resulting conditions.

Then you commissioned it after all. Your fault, your costs.

The prices seem high to me, but they do not seem to violate the contract. Hiring a lawyer will only cause additional costs. If the crane company coordinates the times, rents the signs, arranges for them to be delivered and picked up, and perhaps even drives to and from the site themselves to set everything up, you quickly end up with 8 arrivals/departures with 1-2 people each for 2-4 hours. Just calculate that. By the way, delays in construction due to lack of coordination or care would be more expensive. Don’t get upset; if the overall package is right and you have received good quality, there are plenty of reasons to be happy that outweigh an apparently too high invoice item.

We paid a little over 2000 euros in 2017 with a traffic light. Known personally, paid regular price, directly at the security company

Application must be submitted
Application fee
Arrival, departure 2x
Signage
Liability

you as the builder are off the hook with the all-inclusive package.

Wrong day applied for so what
Accident because of incorrect signage so what
Accident because barrier ignored so what don't care

Well, it's a lousy rip-off, you can try to complain at a higher level, but it probably won't do much. The hassle with a lawyer isn't worth it either.

It went like this for us: Call: Hello, the street needs to be closed from 10 am to 2 pm for the crane. Do you want to take care of it or should we? That would cost about €300. Since it's a residential street, we just informed the neighbors and that was it...

Have the costs itemized or proven. Otherwise, consult a lawyer if you suspect usury.
