[*]You agreed to a non-professional and therefore inexpensive property management company daccord, so you must not expect professionals. Talk to them, not to us. Are you afraid they will steal from you? And the fact that the new tenant is not paying anything yet is no longer your concern. That is his responsibility from the point of possession transfer. But whatever remains from 17 you have to pay. This includes the insurance. Is the woman supposed to bring money for her management duties? Did you compete for the job? Karsten

No, of course not. I wanted to put it in the hands of a professional management. But the other owners did not want that, as they believe that one of the owners would do it cheaper.

yes, but have you never seen a statement before?

Apparently, the lady is overwhelmed. I also do it for us. In the first year, we took a conservative approach and paid in more than the costs incurred. We only had estimated reference values (primarily consumption). In the second year, we then reduced the ancillary costs.

I mean, the costs have indeed been incurred. If too little was paid, it must be paid afterwards. I find your co-owner very generous for having fronted the money for so long. Whether the new one pays, you can also not care about.

What amount is it actually about? It can't be 5,000 euros.

No, this ownership fiasco was unique and short-lived. More details can be found in the mold thread of this forum. :-)

It’s €500. Since I have to pay the insurance premium in full anyway and do not get reimbursed, I am not worried about going too far in advance payments.

This is pure chaos. For last year, the old owner still made the utility bill, who sold all four apartments in the building last year. Then officially, as of 1.1.18, the co-owner took over along with the property management. Why she now wants money for repairs from 2017 and also the insurance premium paid in 2017, only dear God knows. Whether the other lady will settle everything properly? I mean, the service charges were paid continuously. Until December to the old lady, from January to the new lady. And why shouldn’t the service charge include an insurance premium? I understand that for unplanned repairs; but not for regular items like the insurance premium.

It is not a big deal but in addition, all the apartments have 1,000 co-ownership shares. But in the end, 45 co-ownership shares remained, where she added up the individual apartments. Now no one knows where the 45 shares difference comes from. She then simply distributed them linearly among everyone. Stupid, as I had the smallest apartment. It’s only 45 euros but shouldn’t actually happen.

You pay 500 € out of petty cash.

The stress wouldn't be worth it for me.
