Hello, I have a question, I hope you can help me with:
My roof was insulated about 25 years ago with 80mm insulation between the rafters, there is a solid boarding on the beams and everything inside is finished. Now the thing is, I would like to have my roof redone, but if possible without having to add additional insulation.
I visited a roofer who told me that I don’t need to add insulation because, due to the existing solid boarding, there would be an extraordinary effort and therefore the applicable energy saving regulations would not apply.
My actual question now is whether this statement is correct, as it would of course be best for me?
Thank you very much in advance!
