Hello,

what do you think about the expensive energy-saving lamps? Well, I think they are stupid, they are more expensive, don’t produce bright light, and look stupid

yes I also think they are stupid. I have also heard that dangerous substances are produced during manufacturing, so these lamps are not good for the environment either-

Dangerous substances do not arise during production, but during disposal. However, this does not burden the environment as much as electricity production.

I have energy-saving lamps everywhere where possible. So outside I have a motion detector, that's why the light keeps turning on and off, unfortunately I can't use an energy-saving lamp there. I don't find the light darker than with normal lamps. It always takes a few seconds until it is bright, that's true, but I don't find that bad.

Besides, on the topic of expensive, it should also be added that these energy-saving lamps last much longer than normal ones, so when comparing prices you can divide the price by 3, since the lamps definitely last about 3 times as long.

I only buy energy-saving bulbs now, whenever I need a lamp I already buy energy-saving bulbs because it is simply cheaper over time. As already mentioned, they consume maybe 1/4 of the energy and last much longer, that’s also my impression.
