Hello everyone,

we are currently building a new house.(KFW 55)

Facts: 2 floors, hipped roof
36.5 cm insulated brick TV07
Basement insulated with 12 cm
Windows Internorm FK 410 Uw=0.68 K/m^2
Living area has been calculated at 166 sqm.
with a pellet heating system approx. 10KW

The energy certificate now states that we will consume "only" 24 kwh/m^2.
If I calculate that way, I come to a pellet consumption of only about 850 kg for heating.
Is that possible? Or do I have a calculation error?

For domestic hot water in summer, a solar thermal system is to be installed.

Regards

Karl H.

In my experience, the values in the [Energieausweis] are not suitable for estimating the fuel consumption of the building. I asked the architect for the "specific heating demand" of my house, and it was significantly higher than the values in the [Energieausweis] (no idea how the [Energieausweis] is calculated. I heat with a heat pump). The floor area to be used for the calculation was explicitly the usable area of the house, not the living area.

Best regards Karl
