Hello everyone,
we have decided to renew our heating system from the 80s. I thought I would simply have heating engineers come and advise me. But no one wants to come before an energy consultant has been there... Ok, no problem, I thought. But now I am faced with the following questions:
- I don't need a full energy consultation for the house (windows, roof, facade etc. are not up for consideration), but only for the heating, that is whether the new heating system, together with other factors, complies with the laws. Is it possible to get something like this, and what costs should one expect?
- and above all: The main purpose of the consultation from my perspective would be the issue of funding. I still have a lot to learn here... What I don’t know as of now: Does the application for funding always have to be done through an energy consultant, or do I apply for it myself (with the help of the energy consultant)? I ask this "naively" because I keep seeing energy consultants state on their websites that they are "certified" for BAFA or KfW, so to speak. And what about "Deutschland macht plus"?
Many thanks for any tips!
Peter
