Good morning!

We want to install a recessed mirror cabinet in the bathroom at the 1.20-meter-wide washbasin.

Has anyone implemented something like this? Manufacturer-wise, everything is possible since we will buy and install it ourselves. The installation frame will be installed by the structural carpenter into the pre-wall.

We have chosen the "Asis Prime" model from Emco, but at Reuter, it costs €1100 plus the installation frame, which is not exactly a bargain.

What width of the mirror cabinet would you choose? Matching the washbasin, or wider?

I would be very happy to receive any tips

Regards

We have a 120cm Keramag Icon with a 120cm built-in mirror cabinet. A washbasin and mirror of different widths would have looked like we wanted but didn't work for us.

Our cabinet is from Laguna and has a fixed frame. It is attached like a conventional wall cabinet on rails in the niche, but I screwed it over the side cheeks with 4 pan head screws (because of the wooden frame construction and the precisely made niche) and put appropriate cover caps on the screw heads.

The washbasin is still missing in the picture and the stripes come from the LED light

Super thank you!

Since we are installing the same washbasin:

Would it be possible in advance for you to please upload another photo when the wash area is finished, or when the washbasin is hung?

I will try to remember this evening. The bathroom has been in use for 2 weeks.

Hi,

If possible, a bit wider. It looks more spacious in my opinion. We have two washbasins (also Keramag ICon, but 75 cm wide) with some distance between them and above them a 200 cm wide mirror. It extends about 5 cm beyond the washbasins on each side.

Regards,

Andreas

We use a washbasin that has 1 bowl with 1 drain but 2 faucets.

This should not appear as intrusive in our already small bathroom (~8m²) as 2 separate washbasins.

The chosen Icon model has a width of 120cm:

Now, the favored mirror cabinet "Emco Asis Prime" is available in widths of 123cm or 133cm.
