But compare very simple things like a switch box from the hardware store and from the electrical wholesale where the electrical professional usually shops! A huge difference! What you are saying here is a classic example of "I want all the warranty, but please on my terms and exclusively cheap" — quite a few with this attitude end up in court after the construction project is completed - if it even gets that far.

You already have a rather "high" opinion of craftsmen's work — with me, you'd be going against the grain and could see where that gets you :o
