Good morning,
we have started building our house. Currently, I am already obtaining quotes for the electrical installation. The first quote amounts to 6800 euros including [Märchensteuer]. The quote is a basic setup without any frills.

About our house:

no basement
living area 140 sqm
attic 35 sqm
garage including storage room and heating room 60 sqm
gas solar heating system
underfloor heating everywhere except the extension

Can someone please tell me if the price is okay?
It seems too expensive to me.
Please respond

6800,- for the complete electrical installation of a 140 sqm house? That seems rather too cheap to me. :)

@haus 22

What you describe is a total for X.
How many sockets?
Hotspots?
Network?
Intercom system with video
Intrusion alarm control panel
BK/Sat/DVB-T
IP connection
EIB
There are (almost) no limits to the technology.
Many sizes

How? Only material costs? What do you want with that? Make a proper bill of quantities and compare. (or have it done) No one in a forum will tell you whether that "fits" or not. Ultimately, it doesn't help you with your craftsmen to say "people on the internet say it can be done cheaper."

ok ok. before we start talking nonsense, let's get to the point. and I expect honest answers and no advice. so a few prices from our offer. for a room thermostat, the guy charges 105 euros each. for a socket, 24 euros. for a control circuit for a burner, 43 euros. for a cross circuit (4 points) with 2 burners, 120 euros, and so on and so forth. guys, don't get me wrong, but as a layman I have to say that the prices are quite steep. are the parts platinum-plated? I just want to turn the light on and off. and even if it's Busch Jäger or Gira. still way too expensive. what hourly rate must he have? he's just an electrician, not Microsoft. he doesn't even earn that much. so no hard feelings. so what's your statement now? I'm curious about your answers. and woe betide you if you stab me in the back :).
