Hello!

I need to purchase 90 sqm of parquet flooring. The installer will be the builder, so the level of difficulty for installation is not important to me (possibly glued down, with underfloor heating). I would like a thickness of 10-11 mm (because of the ceiling height) and wide planks. Probably matte lacquered and easy to maintain (glue-free?), but sandable 2-3 times if possible. Is only two-layer parquet suitable? The color must be a nice brown-gray tone. The main question is which brands are recommended for this. Which brands would you recommend based on my specifications? Or which brands are generally recommended for quality, durability, ...?

Thanks and regards Paul

Why not three-layer parquet, then it is for example 13.5mm thick with Haro. Take a look around on their homepage. Otherwise, there are so many parquet manufacturers (Parador, Terhürne etc.), go to a parquet dealer/wood retailer and get advice. Gluing is recommended with underfloor heating, probably continuous installation is also possible with a flexible adhesive.

Ok, where did you order parquet so that it is cheaper? Online sites that are recommended? Installation is at the expense of the site manager, I only have to order and have it delivered to him, nothing more

Hello Paul,

I had the same problem and after a long back and forth decided on terrabraun oak farmhouse planks. The brand is Thede & Witte and I ordered them online from Eichhorn-Lautertal and am completely satisfied! They withstand a lot and make a very high-quality impression. Your builder will also have no trouble laying them, as the engineered wood flooring offers a click system for floating installation. Even after a year of heavy use, the floor still looks like new. They are also suitable for underfloor heating - so I would buy this parquet again any time!

I hope I could help and best regards!

Hello,

I also ordered [Wigenheima Eiche Landhausdielen] and am very satisfied with them. As already mentioned, they are durable and suitable for underfloor heating. Highly recommended. I got mine from [Rudda].

Best regards,
linoc

Hello,

do you probably have photos? I actually want to order as well and just wanted to have an idea of how country house floorboards fit into the apartment.

Best regards
