Was installed by a botch job crew two weeks ago, then some wind came:

I find the wire fences incredibly ug..., well, let's not say ugly. We initially asked for a quote for them for cost reasons. Because we found them so terrible, we then asked for alternative offers. Among others, WPC and Siberian larch. WPC was really very expensive and somehow artificial. The larch was actually similarly expensive as the wire mesh fence including the mat. So we chose the larch. Indestructible, very beautiful and natural. Well, you have to like the patina that develops over time.

Well, there's nothing wrong with larch, but is it really more beautiful? Do you mean as a classic slat fence or 'solid' as a board wall? I always find the latter very unpleasant in terms of appearance, even with the most beautiful wood. The rod mats in anthracite are hardly noticeable, similar to dark fly screens. With the plastic strips inside, those things are an eyesore and a crime against the environment, no question.

No idea. As always, it’s all a matter of "what do I like". We wanted privacy screening.
It looks like this. We think it’s super beautiful.
(Please overlook the plants and the bare spots, as the garden is still completely “untouched”).
