Good morning,
I want to create indirect lighting in the living room (illuminating the room). For this, the ceiling at the edge area is to be lowered by 15 cm.
The wall mainly consists of calcium silicate, one wall is aerated concrete. The ceiling is made of concrete (filigree ceiling elements).
As can be seen in the following picture, I have a cover strip that goes down 15 cm from the ceiling and an L-shaped part, which is 25 cm long. The distance from the wall to the cover strip is 16 cm.
How is the whole thing best mounted now?

The UD profiles are drawn in red and the CD profiles in green.
I would nail a UD profile to the ceiling(?) (I would have to borrow a gas nailer). Attach the cover strip (12.5 mm drywall) to it with self-tapping screws. Does this work or will the profile bend away? Should I insert a batten into the profile?
At the bottom end of the cover strip, also screw a UD profile. (The green CD profile is open on the side and is therefore not screwed in.)
Then insert the CD profile (green). Beforehand, screw/nail the UD profile to the wall(?). Screw the CD profile. Once on the right through both the UD and the CD profile, and on the left only through the CD profile. This way, the CD profile lies "free" in the left UD profile and can compensate for structural movement.
Is this logical so far?
Would you do it the same way or differently?
Is this "free" support on the left wall connection profile necessary, or can I also simply screw through both profiles to attach the drywall?
