Next week, the flowing screed CAF-C25-F5 will be delivered to our old building. The floor structure is as follows:
15 mm floor covering
55 mm flowing screed on underfloor heating
25 mm system tacker plate
30 mm leveling insulation (EPS).
We have 30 cm brick walls (dried for 50 years), plaster and concrete work were already completed about 5-6 weeks ago, so the residual moisture should be "tolerable." I can measure it if needed.
In total, it is 140 m² over 2 floors with large window areas, so we could cross-ventilate for a high air exchange rate. If necessary, the neighbors would also have to help with ventilation. How would the current drying time look like at the moment (if we ventilate optimally, I could organize a construction dryer if needed)?
I read somewhere the rule of thumb d²*1.6, that would be 5.5²*1.6=48 days...
How many liters of water actually need to be ventilated out with 55 mm? (That would be about 7.7 m² screed).
Next week, the screed layer will come and explain everything to us exactly, but I am already so curious because the planned move-in date is tight.
Thank you very much!
