Hello,

since I have now broken 2 drills within 4 years, I am currently researching what brand the next machine will be. This time I was thinking maybe about a really good machine that can withstand the escapades of my everyday life. Maybe a Hilti?

So I searched a bit on the internet and found some information, but I find it a bit strange that the site praises every brand a lot. Lately, I have not been satisfied with the Bosch machines at all.

I would be glad if you could say whether it is really worth spending more money on a Hilti, or if it is just brand hype.

Hello Matze,
The expense for a Hilti is absolutely worth it - if you need this professional product for the intended work; as a construction expert, I can say that plumbing and electrical installations on site are hardly conceivable without Hilti, you only see Hilti.

As a DIY enthusiast, I have been using a Bosch hammer drill for 20 years - motor, chuck, switch are indestructible.

Hilti really makes an impression, your grandson will still benefit from it, but as a DIYer you can certainly decide based on the price when it comes to branded products.
