...yes, I know, this is a construction forum. And I don’t want to prepare the soy stuff in the new hut either. But are there perhaps enthusiastic vegetarian hobby cooks who can handle it? I tried it, it tasted exactly as it looked, sad, sad. I find it very practical if we will be traveling light without cooling in the summer. Can anyone handle it?

Best regards Gabriele

I tried it once and didn’t think it was bad. It’s just not meat. Soy granules need to be soaked, then well squeezed out and used as ground meat. I made lasagna and seasoned the soy mince well with beef broth, in addition to thyme, paprika, etc.

Either over-season it to death or it tastes like it looks.
Why do you want to take that stuff with you?
What are you planning?

Tried soy granules once, I didn't like them.

They are good for storage... and don’t expect any grilled meat flavor

I read "Sofa" and thought WTF... whatever

I can recommend the next-level hack from Lidl, it really tastes very good.
