Draw the plan yourself? Do you necessarily need an architect?

Good day,

how is it actually with the plan, can I draw it myself or does it always have to be done by an architect? Because it can't be that difficult, when I look at some houses like that, I can do it too.

Hi,

I don't want to be intrusive :but this should definitely be done by an architect or at least a draftsman. There is more to consider than just the problem of where the walls go.

Fortunately, you need a qualified professional to submit a building application, because it is not enough to just draw a few lines on a sheet of paper.

Hello,

just because you need a professional to draw it doesn't mean you can't bring in your own ideas.
Write down what would be important and what you'd like.

best regards, Adam

So my brother-in-law did it himself with the help of a draftsperson. His house has now been standing for over 25 years. It probably wasn't that bad what he did.

That would be too tedious for me and I don’t think you actually save anything. A good architect does that in no time and includes everything that has to be in a house.

You can see what happens when laymen get to work at the [Rathaus von Schilda]!!!!
