Hello everyone

I have now received the plan from the surveyor.
1x PDF and 1x DWG file.
Everything in 2D.

Now I would like to draw in the house so that I can better see the distances and size.

Which tool should I use for this, preferably free or trial version?

Regards
Andreas

Might sound ironic now, but I mean it seriously. classic analog tools: pencil, set square, compass?

Take the PDF, convert it into an image, continue working at 1:100 scale in a vector graphics program.

Cut out the template of the house and the garage and have fun aligning them.

I imported this into Sketchup and completely modeled the house there, including the floor plans. It works well for visual views, but it was also a great help in electrical planning. I still update the plans today and always have all cable routings on the property, irrigation, etc. available to scale.

Graph paper and pencil are your friends. And puzzle fiddling :)
