Good evening,
I am new here and we are currently planning a new single-family house. In the basement, we want to plan a sauna area including a shower and a whirlpool.
Since the new development area was planned relatively modestly, it will probably not be possible for us to have drainage below the floor slab, as we would then no longer be able to maintain the necessary slope for the sewer.
If I go from the sewer invert with a 2% slope towards the building, my sewer pipe would come out about 5 cm below the raw floor level. We would like to save ourselves the lifting station due to the annual maintenance required and only work with a backflow preventer.
Now to my question:
Does anyone have experience whether drainage over the basement exterior wall is also possible in connection with a backflow preventer?
Thank you very much in advance for your support!
Daniel
