Yes, that is without a concrete slab. But it has many disadvantages, hard to keep clean, the pavement settles and becomes uneven, you can't get rid of oil stains. It's basically the low low budget solution.
What happens then to the water that runs off the car? Road salt?
The concrete slab probably doesn’t like that in the long run.
That’s why we don’t have one. We only have a ring beam on which the walls stand, and on the surface there is gravel and mineral concrete. So the water can infiltrate freely.
But also many advantages. Everyone has to decide that for themselves. For us, it was not a financial but a matter of belief.
Is not an option for me, Bookstar has already listed quite a few things. I would like a smooth floor that can be easily cleaned with a squeegee. It will probably come down to the 2K resin (on screed) ... seems to me the best option.
