Double garage flooring - screed with 2K coating? Epoxy resin

Hi,

I am considering having fiber-reinforced screed with a slope installed in the garage.
On top of that, a 2K epoxy resin coating – that would actually be my dream.

What are your experiences with the resin coating? Durability?
How is the stuff if a part/tool falls down? Can it be repaired?

We have a 15cm thick base slab – raw.
The area is about 70m².

You can forget it, it won't last permanently. Have the coating done by a professional, 5 work steps, 2 to 3 cm thick. Lasts 100 years. You can then skip the screed, concrete floor is sufficient.

what exactly is that?

The floor is sanded, gaps filled with resin, then sanded again, primed, coated with 2K compound, if necessary sprinkled with something for grip and appearance, then a layer of paint.

And who offers something like that? How much does something like that cost? What is the alternative if you don’t feel like having tiles?

There is quite a bit. Concrete with water glass, 2k epoxy (as explained by Bookstar), stone carpet, (cast) asphalt... There are specialized trades for everything. You can find them quite quickly via Google or through the architect.
