Hello dear community,

in the development plan, a wall height of 6 m and a ridge height of 9 m are specified. It is allowed to build a dormer/dormer gable.

Now our question is: does the wall height count from the top edge of the street to the intersection of the outer wall or from the top edge of the street to the highest point of the dormer? Does blue or red count? Maybe you know a paragraph about this?

Thank you very much

Hi, in our development plan the basics of how heights are calculated are explained (eave height and ridge height) so that there are no misunderstandings. Is there nothing about that in your documents? Otherwise, just call the building authority or drop by. That usually clears things up ;)

Blue, unless the development plan explicitly allows exceptions.

There isn’t one. It’s not needed. It’s common practice, confirmed by case law.
