Doorbird D1101FV - Motor Lock Opening Options

Hello everyone, I am currently building a house and for this purpose also looking for a suitable solution for the intercom system. I find the D1101FV with the integrated fingerprint sensor very appealing because the sensor itself is said to be extremely pleasant and I can, for example, control the door and the garage with different fingers. Now to the question: Apparently, the Doorbird should not be connected directly to the door but normally via the controller A1081, which is positioned inside the house. However, there is also the solution of secure switching not via this controller, but via the Doorbird indoor station. It also offers relay switching. Is there a more affordable option with another, cheaper unit to securely realize door and gate opening from inside the house? The direct connection to the outdoor station is ruled out as described due to the relatively easy possibility of bridging. Thank you very much for your input

Hello Beims_NW, there are different possibilities. The D1101 F has a bistable relay integrated. The D2101FV would have two of them (you said you want to switch 2 contacts). Whether it works with the different fingers to control different relays, I’m not 100% sure, but I think it should work with the Keypad. I would have to check that. But as you already wrote, it is somewhat less secure (although the burglar who bridges it first still has to be born). Otherwise correct. Either via the indoor station A1101 or via the EA/controller A1081 option. Where are you currently buying the Doorbird? Prices are fluctuating extremely right now?

Hello, I also received feedback from the Doorbird Helpdesk regarding this: "Currently, we do not offer any other option. For tamper-proof integration, you can use our IP I/O Door Controller A1081 or the indoor station A1101."

I must admit that I am currently (again) uncertain whether and where I would get the Doorbird. I just came across the IP set AVS4473U from GVS yesterday, which actually includes the outdoor station with RFID and fingerprint, 3 indoor stations, and the controller for a price of 1.2K. I believe that separately controlling a door and a garage is probably not possible here, but there are apparently other solutions that could be found... I must admit that, with all the Hikvision, Dahua, Doorbird, GVS & Co., my head is spinning by now.

There are always makeshift solutions. But generally, the price is quite similar to the doorbird. D1101fv is around €930 RRP and the a1101 at €480 RRP. But you can get it cheaper.
