Doorbell system good acoustics / door intercom / intercommunication system TFE

I am looking for a doorbell system with an intercom.
In other words, ringing + speaking.
The whole system may have an analog(?) a/b connection and can thus be connected to, for example, the Fritzbox 7490, and speaking can be done via the DECT phones.
Actually, I want to keep the connection as simple as possible.
We do not want video, we are not the Stasi. And if I don’t like the face of the other person, I just keep the door closed.

So far, I know from intercom systems that as the person ringing, I can only hear the other person very poorly, you always have to shout. Sometimes I just make funny noises for fun and people still open the door because they don’t understand anything anyway.
When I use the intercom in our place (i.e., as the apartment owner), I also mostly understand the partner only with difficulty.

Therefore, I hope you can name a few products or manufacturers that are known for their very good acoustics or are so based on your experience.

I looked at the well-known ones on the internet (Gira, Siedle, BuschJäger). I have the feeling that there is only square module design/modern available and these things are rather aimed at multi-family houses. From a design perspective, I would be looking for something that fits more into the country house style or somehow looks "more classic" and not standard stainless steel modern chic. Am I maybe searching for the wrong keyword (doorbell system, intercom system, door intercom system, hands-free door intercom system)? I will soon go to the hardware store to see what is available there. They probably also have white plastic.
