Hello everyone,

since I don’t know where to put this topic, I am posting it in Off-Topic.

Two pictures are attached. My question regarding this:
-> Can this "tar" go into a construction waste container?
-> Is the red "wool" hazardous waste (and thus cannot go into a construction waste container)?

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Tim

Tar must not be disposed of in the rubble container

Yes, is that tar or just regular screed? And the "wool"?

Hello Tim. Tar is not and has not been used in residential construction! What the photos show is a cast asphalt screed. The "red wool" you mentioned is certainly the jute backing of a rather old linoleum floor covering. Both are uncritical and should by no means be classified as hazardous waste in terms of pollutant contamination. However, not every landfill accepts bituminous building materials. So that would need to be clarified! Greetings from vacation KlaRa
