Does a terraced end house always have to remain just one?

You don't just tear down a house. Unless it no longer has any economic value.

If only that were the case, on a very nice plot, two streets away, a large and also beautiful 90s house was just demolished.. when money doesn't matter and plots are worth their weight in gold...
