You seem to have either not read or not understood the previous posts. If you want to spend about 500 on a [Dunstabzugshaube], you will not be happy with recirculation; on the one hand, it will be very loud and on the other hand inefficient as a punishment. You should look in the [Abluftbereich].

Have the aforementioned Berbel... such crap Possibly also explains the tiny spots on the ceiling (only visible if you are 10 cm away) next to the hood - had suspected the mixer until now.

Will investigate more closely over the weekend.

A well-functioning hood requires that it be turned on a few minutes in advance and be allowed to run for a while afterward.

As I said, the Miele hood that did well in Stiftung Warentest costs about €500. The Berbel for €2000 performed significantly worse. I'm not fixed on the €500 because of the money, but because of the test.
