Do HDMI installation cables differ from "normal" HDMI cables?

Hello, I am currently remodeling a few rooms and wanted to install HDMI sockets in the walls at the same time and route the cables via my suspended ceiling to the planned projector. Since the sockets come from Busch Jaeger and the individual wires have to be screwed in individually rather than simply plugging a connector into the back of the socket, I am wondering if there are differences between an HDMI installation cable and an "end device cable." For testing purposes, I opened an HDMI cable that I would use (Kabeldirekt) and prepared it according to the manufacturer's specifications for the HDMI socket. However, since the wires in this cable are very fragile and I also could not find any mm² data to compare them with installation cables, my question is whether they are identical and essentially the same or if there are certain advantages. Thanks in advance for your help.

Installation cables come without connectors that need to be clipped off for the BJ socket. This is quite practical because you can cut the cable to the exact length, pull it more easily without a bulky connector, and then attach the connector where you need it. There will certainly be differences; after all, there are ready-made HDMI cables for 10 EUR and others for 100 EUR, at the same length. Whereas I now usually go for the lowest price category. The TV picture has never pixelated because of that, and I don’t have perfect pitch either. Works fine for me. I hope you run it through a conduit, because HDMI will probably become history at some point, then something better will come.

Installation cables should have solid copper conductors, while "normal" ones have flexible stranded conductors.

He's right there. Lay a conduit! You might want to install something else later or additionally a LAN cable, fiber optic, or whatever.

Uh no? An installation cable simply means that it comes without a plug. A CAT7 cable also doesn't have solid cores when you pull it from the roll.
Everything else is, especially for laypeople, an absolute disaster. 0.25² solid? That breaks so quickly, you just have to cough by accident.

: Please try to limit yourself to topics you have at least some knowledge about.
Then you might not be able to write something all Sunday, but this way it doesn’t help anyone.
