Hello dear forum,
suddenly a change was made regarding the supply of fresh water to our semi-detached house. The pipe is now supposed to come from the garden – right through the garden, mind you – instead of from the street side as originally planned.
The reason given was that the district heating pipe (our heating system) would heat the fresh water if it is "flanged" to the house at the same point as the fresh water. To prevent this, the two pipes are spatially separated.
Thank you very much for your help and best regards!

[*]Is the fresh water really heated if the pipe is next to the district heating pipe?
[*]Can I oppose this or influence how the fresh water pipe is laid? The garden would now be split in the middle by the pipe and could potentially hinder me with future construction projects (pool, etc.).
Thank you very much for your help and best regards!
