Hello,

I have another question about sockets and the position in which they are installed.

They are installed at a height of 30cm above the finished floor, but what distance is taken from the wall or from a corner? Do you also take 15 cm centered as with door frames or do you take more???

Thank you very much

As you want, there are no specifications

I can place them wherever I want? I thought there was always some kind of guideline or recommendation

I think so too, just agreement. However, the electrician should be able to comfortably install the socket ;)

There are so-called installation zones according to DIN. Just google it. They should be observed, but in my opinion, you really don’t have to. However, as an electrician, I would have it drafted and countersigned by a lawyer if the client demands deviations ;-)

Installation zones are all well and good, but first the box should be placed where the client wants or needs it.
