Distance between two washbasins

Hello everyone,

in our bathroom, two washbasins are planned. Now we are wondering how large the distance between the two should be. Intended as a space filler is a towel holder or a small cabinet. The washbasins are each 60 cm long and can be distributed over about three meters.

If you use Google Image Search, you will find many beautiful examples to inspire you. Starting from pure double sinks, to countertop basins with a continuous slab, to separate sinks with a cabinet in between.

A contemporary solution would be a connection of two washbasins, either molded in one piece or connected by a countertop. Separation by a cabinet or any dust collectors were used ages ago

I have already done that, but not so intensively.

In the series we chose, there are no connected single washbasins. There is only one large double washbasin. However, at 120 cm wide, it was not wide enough. That is why we decided on two single washbasins.

Maybe you chose the wrong series?

Alternatively, one can still ask the question of why two sinks are needed - sometimes we even brush our teeth four at one (although it then slowly becomes cramped). The only thing I can imagine is that everyone has to clean their own.
