Question for the professionals:

-New construction KfW55
-Central ventilation system

The specialist company only kept a 2-meter distance between the exhaust air and the fresh air, and that in a line one above the other. (see pictures) Fresh air on top, exhaust air below.

The whole setup is on the west side. Now I and several other craftsmen have concerns that an air shortcut could occur.
The specialist company has no concerns at all and sees no other option (due to dew points, etc.).

Unfortunately, the sanitary company did not consider this issue properly during the shell construction planning.

Maybe someone still has an alternative possibility/idea?
Or perhaps no concerns because they have installed it like this several times before?

Ideas for underground installation were rejected due to condensate (opinion of the specialist company).
Also, the idea to place it on the other side of the outside door (which would also be only about 2 meters apart).

Our technical room is very cramped, the west side is the only exterior wall.
Do you need any further information?

Please share your opinion/advice or solution!

What are the specifications of the manufacturer of the ventilation system?

Hi, it is a Viessmann Vitovent 300-W, the following is noted there:

5
Outdoor air supply and exhaust air opening
The intake opening for outdoor air and the
discharge opening for exhaust air should
be as far apart as possible to avoid a short-
circuit of the air flows (minimum distance 3 m).
The wind direction should be taken into ac-
count to avoid influence by wind pressure.

The execution according to the manufacturer's specifications is required.

If it remains open like that, I actually believe it is unfavorable for air circulation. We had a similar problem with the GU back then, also due to cramped conditions in the utility room. In the end, ours was installed in a way similar to yours, but our GU had a special part custom-made together with the plumber (it wasn't cheap, over 1000 euros just for the part without installation), with which he made a passage through our carport roof upwards.

The supply air now comes from above over the carport, the exhaust air is below as with you. So far, we have had no problems with this solution. I have attached photos of before and after.

Precisely because it is in a slightly sheltered corner, the air short circuit is quite likely
