We are interested in a new building. A large combined heat and power plant will be built for the entire settlement in a new residential area, which will then supply approx. 50 single-family houses. The advantage is probably that the entire heating is only rented. If something breaks, there are no costs for us. The disadvantage is that you do not have a free choice of provider. So you are basically at the mercy of one company. This company has no competition.

Do users here use [Nahwärme] and can share experiences?

Hi "hier könnte dein Name stehen",

District heating/local heating is not new, but a long-tested concept that does not cause any technical problems.

The crucial question for me would be: what does this cost, what is the rent for the heating supposed to be, and how much does the kWh of heat energy cost me? And do I even have an alternative if I don't want this local heating? Can I also install my own heating system or does the development plan require participation in the combined heat and power plant?

Best regards,

Andreas

Is probably a settlement as is the case with the "Traumhäuser", there are no options. Flow temperature. also division into residential property - initially "cheaper" purchase price...

I know 2 such cases.

Once for 3000 residents and once 30 units. Heating costs are high. Unfortunately, I cannot say which option is cheaper, investment in own heating plus low heating costs per unit or no investment plus high heating costs per unit....
