Hello forum. I would like to board the attic floor as soon as everything is finished here. For this, I would like to use OSB or tongue and groove boards. Now, there are diagonal beams lying on the collar beams. I thought these would be removed before covering the roof, which has now been done, and only serve for safety as long as the roof is still open. I am attaching a picture, I am currently unable to go up to the attic to take others.
How can I now board the attic floor, since these diagonal beams rest on the collar beams and are "in the way" of battens on top? Thanks for any constructive help.
