Hello,

we will soon start building our house in the Hannover area (Wedemark) and I am still looking for information regarding the development.
Our plot still needs to be fully developed, as there was previously an old barn here.

    [*
      Drainage application for wastewater:
      [LIST=1]
      [*]Approved so far. From the street it is about 5 meters level to the transfer shaft on our property and this alone costs about €15,000 according to the municipality. The order for this is awarded by the municipality in our case and as far as I understand it, I cannot contact any civil engineering companies myself or compare offers. I am interested in how it went for you.
      [*]From the aforementioned transfer shaft it goes about 30m further along the driveway to our house. About halfway along the driveway, the wastewater pipe or line has a branch to the directly neighboring property. Another family member is building there and we wanted to prevent having to build another transfer shaft for this property through this measure. Basically, our transfer shaft is for both properties and we save another €15,000. Does anyone have experience with this or is there any objection?
      [*]Internal development - from the transfer shaft to the house:
      [LIST=1]
      [*]This is about 30m for us and I wonder whether I can carry out the sewer pipe for the wastewater line myself with a 1-2% slope and then have it accepted by someone from the municipality. I would prefer not to commission a civil engineering company for this! Did you dig yourselves or have it dug? ;-)

[*
    House connection drinking water

      [*]I would also be interested in how it went for you here. From the Wasserverband Nordhannover I have an offer of €1,700, which only includes commissioning and the connection line. To avoid having to dig another sewer for this, I wonder whether the drinking water pipe can lie next to the wastewater pipe... or above it?

    [*]General about the house connection sewer:

      [*]There is a line for wastewater, drinking water, internet and electricity, right or did I forget something? Can all these lines be laid in one trench? Wastewater with slope at the bottom... some sand on top and then the drinking water pipe without slope and next to it electricity/internet?

I am hoping for your expertise.

Regards B.

It was all done for us in one go, by a company commissioned by the municipality (district in Lower Saxony), which only does this kind of work (civil engineering, pipeline construction). The prices (water, electricity, etc.) are flat rates and then include everything. Maybe it’s the same with you? (Lower Saxony)
